I recently saw this brand for the first time and ordered a bag to see what it was like. One bag fills three and a bit Illy tins but at half the price. It is punching well above it's taste weight pricewise, and is a great morning coffee or through-the-day pick-me-up. It is strong but not overwhelming, is really smooth and has no hint of tangy bitterness, and when you take a slurp it makes you look at the cup and think "wow, that is a nicely balanced coffee". I can be a bit arsey with my coffee, a mixture of snobbery and flavour, so my curiosity has certainly paid off. Needless to say, I just ordered a load more.

Of course, it's a cheap coffee, not the best possible level available. But, you will get 70% of the taste of an exclusive coffee, for 1/4 of the price. The aroma is good, taste as well, just it's not so intensive, it's quite mild, not bitter, If it's on sale, it's a true bargain. I can recommend this coffee.

I've never written about coffee before so here goes. I've been using standard Sainsbury's 500g coffee for quite some time but I started to notice ages ago that it was incredibly bitter and acidic. After a couple of cups in the morning it would just sit quite heavily in the stomach. The caffeine hit would wear off and leave me feeling groggy. I've tried some of the expensive Italian brands and they were also very acidic and bitter. They didn't seem worth the money. Having read recently about mass produced coffee and pesticide use I was determined to find an organic coffee. So, I end up buying Dr Franz Organic Creme and, boy, am I glad I did. What a pleasant cup of coffee it makes, either in cafetiere or as cappuccino or espresso. Smooth, tasty, full bodied, doesn't taste bitter or acidic. I don't get the same crash in the afternoon from drinking this. What's more, Dr Franz is brilliantly priced for what you get, and I definitely will be back for more.

J'ai voulu tester ce café de marque Autrichienne corsé avec des notes de cacao, et bien il est excellent, je connaissais la marque de café Autrichienne Julius Meinls mais pas Celle-ci et bien elle est aussi qualitative que du Julius que ça soit pour un lungo, Espresso ou ristreto il est au top et parfait pour ma ma cafetière expresso broyeur Delonghi Dinamica, je vous le recommande vous ne serez pas déçu bien au contraire vous allez l'adorer.
